I have to admit that I'm not a fan of water. A glass of water may look less tempting compare to, say, a cup of coffee. Not until recently did I realize the essential role of water to maintain bodily functions.
Water helps keep you hydrated, which is important because every single cell in your body needs it in order to absorb nutrients and expel waste products.
Here are some reasons to drink water that I managed to collect from trusted articles in the Internet.
✿ Helps digestion
✿ Increases energy
✿ Improves skin complexion
✿ Strengthens immune system
✿ Helps you lose weight
Now, I've made drinking water a daily habit. I do enjoy having coffee, tea, fruit juices and carbonated drinks once in a while ^_^ However, I will monitor my sugar (and caffeine) intake and make sure to drink a lot of water every day.
Some tips I would love to share on how to form the water habit:

Form a routine. Drink a glass when you wake up, a glass with each meal, a glass in between meals, and be sure to drink before, during and after exercise.
Carry a bottle. It is useful to get a drinking bottle, fill it with water, and carry it around all day. Click here for our special offer.
Substitute water. If you would normally get a soda, get a glass of water instead. Try sparkling water instead of carbonated drinks.
